What the app does

Find what you need, when you need it

Resources are grouped by topic — your hospital stay, meeting the care team, food and dining, discharge planning, support for parents and families, and more. Search across everything by typing, or hands-free with voice search.

Know who to call

A directory of the people and services that support your family, with one tap to call.

Works offline

Everything is stored on your phone, so it opens instantly with spotty Wi-Fi or none at all. When your care team publishes new information, the app picks it up automatically — you don't need to update anything.

Keep what matters close

Bookmark the pages your family comes back to, and print or share any resource with relatives who are helping.

Available in English and Spanish

The app interface is available in both. Some individual resources are currently available only in English; we're continuing to add translations.

Private by design

There is no account and no sign-up. The app never asks for your name, your contact details, or any information about your child. Your bookmarks and preferences stay on your device.

We collect only anonymous, aggregate statistics — like which guides are opened most — so the care team can improve what's offered. Search terms are never transmitted. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

About this app

The MGB Patient & Family Resource app is provided by Mass General Brigham for Children to share educational resources with parents and caregivers of hospitalized children.

The information in the app is general education from your care team. It is not medical advice, and it does not replace conversations with your child's clinicians. Medical guidance, hospital policies, and resources can change; for anything related to your child's care, always speak with your care team.
